Hi.currently I am in US and suffering from frequent Urination. I work in night-shift. Almost every 40min - 1hr, I got urge to urinate & have to go restroom. As per my family doctor back in India I took CEFTAS 200 for 5 days (2 times a day- after breakfast & dinner) but didn t get any relief. Still have the same frequency. Please help.My email-id is - YYYY@YYYY
Frequent urination is a common problem. The causes may include infection, excess fluid intake, prostate disease, diabetes, side effect of medication.
The ceftas is an antibiotic and would help if an infection was present in most cases. In some cases, the bacteria causing infection can be resistant to the antibiotic used and a different one must be taken.
To find out the cause of the urinary frequency, you may need to see your doctor for an urine analysis and assessment which may include blood tests. Treatment would depend on the cause found.
I hope this helps
