hi, my mom suffered from fever chills and loose motion for 4 days, she is on medication, now the fifth day she is having green stools, however the frequency has reduced, but she experiences chills when she wants to pass stools, my mom is62 yrs and is on amoxycillin

As per our long term clinical experience, amoxicillin must not give in diarrhea condition. Immediately stop amoxicillin and discuss with your doctor regarding the change of antibiotic. Till that time, continue plenty of liquids, dietary measures, anti-pyretic medications as paracetamol for chills after meals.
