Suggest Remedy For Hard Lump On The Breasts

I was helping my friend down from a high place and she ended up sitting on my right breast. It hurt really bad for the rest of the day and even to sleep on it. Now I can feel a large hard lump in it. Near the top I guess. Should I be worried? What do I do?

Hello. Thanks for writing in.
Based on the information you have provided, the lump in the breast seems to be due to the trauma, giving rise to a hematoma/blood clot.
Small hematomas usually resolve on their own.
Larger ones need to be treated/removed, as there are more chances of complications like infection and scarring later on.
You can try applying a cold-compress/ice pack at home.
A visit to the doctor is suggested if there is increase in pain or size of the lump.
Workup of the lump eg ultrasound is only done if diagnosis is in doubt or there is possibility of a complication.
Please do not worry.Bye
