Suggest Remedy For Headache When Exposed To Light.

I recently had a corneal abrasion after hitting my eye into an object,it tore slightly. it took three days to heal and everything went back to normal. i would normally feel headaches during the recovery period and they stopped. This was in January. Now its April and any exposure to light gives me instant headaches. What do you suggest i do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Some of the symptoms of corneal abrasions include redness, tearing, light sensitivity, headache, blurry or decreased vision, eye twitching, a dull ache and, occasionally, nausea.

These symptoms are completely normal and will go away gradually.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
