Suggest Remedy For Heart Flutters With Shortness Of Breath
Im 55yr fem..having alot of heart fluttering short of breath at times it feels like i want to faint light headed. Comes and goes.Had palpitations before but this feels different. Not taking any meds. Had a heart monitor, but no fluttering at that time. It was normal. Still feeling it a lot more frequently. What should I do
Hi welcome to HCM. Heart fluttering with palpitations can be a sign of underlying atrial fibrillation. Most of the cases are benign and asymptomatic.Few cases need treatment when there is dizziness.A baseline ecg and 2 dimensional echo help to quantify the ectopics.Electrophysiological studies can help to offer additional accuracy if needed.Drugs like beta blockers can offer relief from ectopics.Reduce the intake of coffee.Consult your doctor for further care. Thank you
