General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
* To start with get consultation of a gynecologist & investigations to exclude/ treat conditions like hormonal imbalance, high blood pressure, thyroid/ovarian problems, .. & get treated if there is any.
D&C with endometrial biopsy help in diagnosis.Severe anemia needs to be excluded / treated after Hb% estimation.
* After all of this,To treat the bleeding -
- Take medicines as per advise of gynecologist,( CVP gynae/ hormonal pills, injections.)
- Take bed rest, avoid psychological stress. Be positive.
- Be careful about cleanliness
* treatment for such bleeding is-
- By medicines,
- Endometrial ablation by a baloon therapy,
- Hysterectomy ( removal of uterus)
Thanks.
