Suggest Remedy For Hemorrhoid Flare Up Post Delivery
I am five days out from labor which during delivery had a hemmorhoid flare up. Now it is feeling like pins and needles at the site of the hemmorhoid. I have been using medicated wipes plus a cream and it seems like it is harder and harder to get comfortable including sleep.
You are suffering from hemorrhoid flare up post delivery. You are uncomfortable, getting pins and needles and difficulty getting sleep. You are suggested to take adequate water and fluids, avoid spicy oily junk food, add fiber in your diet. Reduce or avoid intake of red meat till the hemorrhoid heals. Take stool softeners and laxatives for better bowel movement.
Taking sitz bath may be helpful. Take acetaminophen, one SOS when needed for relieve of pain. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist or a GP, you may need antibiotics or serrati peptidase to control inflammation, pain and infection & for better healing. You can apply Anusol cream or Pilex cream on the affected area for relief.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
