Suggest Remedy For High Fever In A Child With Bronchitis
My grand daughter had mild bronchitis last week . on zithromax Finish s Monday .the last three days in evening or late afternoon she I running à fever of 101, 102.8 and today 103.1. She says she hurts all over. Doesn t want touch except to hold. Tylenol will take it down but very slowly. She wakes up fine or seems to be. Help?

Understanding your concern. As per your query high fever along with bronchitis in child is due to lung infection/ upper respiratory tract infection. You should start with antibiotic such as amoxiclov along with nasal and chest decongestants for 5- 7 days. You should take anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine. Take capol for fever every 4 hourly. For now do warm saline gargles. Take steam inhalation. Take proper rest , keep yourself hydrate. Maintain hygiene. Take multivitamins rich in vitamin B12 to booster immunity of child. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination as infection has already spread. You should get throat swab test , viral culture test , complete blood profile to find out extent of infection. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Avoid hot, sharp , spicy food substances and carbonated beverages
