Suggest Remedy For High Proteins In Blood With Diagnosed MGUS
I have high protein in my blood and MGUS was diagnosed. I have found out there is asbestos in my classroom roof. A few years a go the roof blew off in the wind. We were ushered out whilst room was moving but then went back into the room later that day....could I have been exposed to asbestos and this is showing in the blood proteins.
As per my clinical experience, the MGUS is monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance. When asymptomatic, MGUS does not require treatment, however, following symptoms may warrant a consultant to begin therapy. - Bone pain - Weight loss - Anemia - Persistent fatigue - Bleeding - Night sweats, fever - Enlarging lymph nodes, liver, spleen - Others
The therapy is aimed at restoring bone mass with Alendronate or other similar substances after due clinical considerations and explaining pros and cons of the same to patient.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
