Suggest Remedy For Inability To Sleep With History Of Being Blind Due To Diabetes

Hello, I have a sister-in-law that has been a diabetic all her life and has been blind for many years now. Now she has developed the habit of not sleeping. She will go to bed at the usual time but maybe in about 45 minutes she will wake up and listen to a book or do sit ups etc. She does the all through the night and every night. My brother, of course is not getting any sleep himself because he stays up with her for fear of leaving her up alone. She does have a tendency to pass out when her sugar drops and it does alot. Well, I heard today that the no sleeping can turn into a disease and it has the numbers 24 in the name of it. It also has a web page with the numbers 24 something ,com. I`d like to know more about this disease and if you know about the web sight so I can look it up and help my brother learn more too. I would so appreciate any info you could give me on this matter......thank you.
