Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My little 11 months old daughter has a little toe infected, started with a little skin that I pulled out, I didn t meant to do that but she moved when I was trying to cut her nails, I took her to the Dr and he prescribed amoxicillin, however her toe still red and looks bad. Please help!
You can continue amoxicillin. Wash the toe with soap and water and apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin. If the toe is not viable it should be removed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
