Suggest Remedy For Intermittent Cough

I have frequent & intermittent coughing at varient times i.e sometimes in morning, afternoon on night time or evening.It starts suddendly ....continues for some time & then stops.What it is ...? Lots of white cough comes out all the day for me ...Pl advice Some anti allergic drugs given by DOCTOR give some relief but no permanent solution

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The cough that you are experiencing appears to be dry cough i.e. cough not associated with sputum production.
Allergy is one of the causes of dry cough, however, your cough is not responding to anti-allergic drugs.
I suggest you to take cough suppressants to control the cough.
Sometimes irritation of the throat or over-activity of cough reflex leads to continuous cough.
Consult your primary healthcare provider for prescription of cough suppressant.
