Suggest Remedy For Intermittent Nausea And Abdominal Pain
Here in the last month or 2, I have noticed everytime I eat, my stomach hurts. Feeling nauseated at times. It is right between my breast. I take OTC Nexium. @ a day. The pain doesn t last long. But, it s uncomfortable. I have gained a little weight. I am 56 years old & very healthy. No HTN. Heart disease. I do not smoke. This year it is time for my 5 year colonoscopy.I had an EGD / COLONOSCOPY in 2010. I am very stressed. And I do worry alot. It s like any emotion, goes right to my stomach. Do you think it s just the stress?
Stress can be associated with chest or abdominal pain , along with other symptoms as well. The pain can be due to the anxiety itself or because the anxiety is worsening other problems such as GERD.
The fact that the pain is worse when you eat, implies it may be GERD. In addition to the nexium , you may need to look at the foods that may be provoking the problem and avoid them.
I hope this helps
