Suggest Remedy For Irregular Menstruation Post Birth Control Pill Withdrawal
Okay so I am asking a female ? So this is a little awkward for me. I quite birthcontrol a tear ago as of April this year. Ive had my period every month up til Novembe. It completely stoped. Then it started again in January and I haven t had it since. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests and they have all came up negstive. I havent gone to a doctor cuz I can t afford insurance as of right now....but I would like to know what s going in if any one can help me. Thanks
If the pregnancy tests are repeatedly negative then it must be due to another cause.
Delayed or irregular periods can be due to: (1) polycystic ovarian disease/syndrome (2) emotional or physical stress or illness (3)thyroid disease (4)side effect of medication (5)high levels of a hormone called prolactin
Blood tests for the thyroid , prolactin and other hormones would be needed to find the cause.
I hope this helps
