Hi I am 31yrs old unmarried I have fibroid. I am facing irregular periods from 10 months. It s been 2 and half month s that I have got my periods . Doctor suggested me to take meprate 10mg for 2 weeks for 3 times after food . Please let me know the side effects.
Meprate pills are pills of Medroxyprogesterone and will institute the withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days after discontinuing them. There are no major side effects of Meprate except you may get some nausea & vomiting, breast heaviness and putting on weight. Some salt restriction may minimise these effects.
