Hello doctor I have thyroid and didn t get my period for long days after taking the medicines i got my period but i m having a continues bleeding im taking 100Mic G thyroxin per day currently my thyroid level is TSH 0.33. to get back to regular cycle can i use primolut N? and will primolut N effect or will i have any trouble in getting pregnant in future?
hi healthcare magic user since you have thyroid problem that is main reason to have delayed periods.you have to correct your TSH in range of 0.3to 2.5 to have regular periods .for heavy bleeding you can take tablet Norethisteron no impact on future conception. if I would have been your treating Doctor it would have given you tablet Pause 650mg to control bleeding for 5days and corrected your thyroid in normal range. if you are trying to conceive please make sure that your TSH is under control.
