Suggest Remedy For Irregular Periods With Pelvic Pain
I am a 21 year old female, I had a c section just over 2 years ago, I have been struggling with changes in my menstrual cycle for the past 6 months or so, and now it has come to a point that I had my period on the 28th to the 4th of this month, yet on the 14th I started spotting slightly, which led to bleeding through out the day that still has not stopped, it is now the 23rd, I also have piercing pain in my pelvic region that has started moving towards my hipbones, the bleeding has come to a point that I need to insert a tampon to keep my clothing clean. What should I do?
If the cycles are coming at regular intervals then there is no need to worry. With iron supplementation and a healthy diet the periods will return to their regular flow in few months. Hormonal tests that have been prescribed by her gynecologist are also necessary to rule out any hormonal disturbance.
Since the periods are coming at regular intervals, it is not going to affect her fertility. You can plan for your next baby. Do get the hormonal tests done and if everything is normal then there is no need to worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
