Suggest Remedy For Itchiness In Vagina Before And After Periods

Hello, I am 30 years old, My external vaginal area get very itchy before and after the periods. I use to apply anti fungal powder or cream, but this time it lasted for long period. please advise the suitable remedy and also advise that should I consult skin specialist or Gynecologist.

I understand your concern.
Getting itching symptoms before and after periods could be due to fungal infection.
As you have been already taking treatment for that, maintenance of hygiene is also extremely important. Sometimes, it could also due to allergic symptoms caused due to use of sanitary napkins.
Kindly keep the area under good hygiene by washing everyday twice using solutions like 'v wash'. Also you can take Tablet. Levocetrizine once a day for itching symptoms. Avoid using any other medication like antifungal agents in case you don't have any other symptoms.
Wear losses fitting undergarments preferably made of cotton during this time to provide good ventilation.
Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard if the symptoms does not subside or there are any other associated symptoms.
