Suggest Remedy For Itching And Swelling Around Site Of Spider Bite

I believe that I have been bitten by a spider or possibly a tick. The site of the bite itches intensely and the area around it is red and swollen . It s been a few days now and an area has developed around the red circle that is becoming red with a white outline around it. This area is about 6 inches in diameter. It s causing me some concern now!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that there is infection at the site of spider bite along with allergic reaction to the poisonous chemical injected by the spider inside the skin..
I would suggest you to take anti allergics like Allegra or Levocetrizine..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Take a short course of antibiotics like Augmentin and Metronidazole..
You can also clean the area with antiseptic solution and apply a triple antibiotic ointment and apply a steroid ointment over it..
You can also do cool compresses over it..
