Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern....
As per your complain there has been an
hypersensitivity or
allergic reaction to the wasp sting that releases poisonous chemical in the
subcutaneous tissue and the itching is due to allergic reaction..
There is inflammation over the skin as well the
soft tissue under skin leading to redness and swelling and even there can be pain..
You need not to worry as gradually when the effect of the sting will wean off the reaction will subside..
You can take Allegra which is an antiallergic medicine and will relieve itching..
For localized relief apply 1%
Hydrocortisone ointment over the sting site as it will reduce inflammation and itching locally and provide relief..
Cold packs will also help by reducing inflammation..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
