Suggest Remedy For Itchy Dry Cough With Hoarse Voice
Hi Doctor, I was diagnosed with Pneumonia 15 days ago and I was precribed levaquin 500mg for 10 days. I had the last pill on Last Saturday. I still have dry cough,hoarsness voice, itchy and heat feeling inside my chest. I am still drinking lots of liquids and soups. I avoid any irritants food such as spicy, sweets or oily food. I am still using cough syrup. What do you think doctor? I appreciate any input.Thanks

Thanks for the query.
Probably you are suffering from post-viral upper airway cough syndrome for which you need to take anti-histaminic. Also you should undergo a spirometry and absolute eosinophil count assay and total serum IgE assay to exclude any allergic phenomenon. Consult a good pulmonologist.
