i am a doctor too, i used an ice pack on my knee and got a little frostbite on the medial side with erythema and induration and soreness, about 2 months ago. it appeared to heal after 2 weeks returning to normal except some hypopigmentation relative to the adjacent skin. Suddenly last week in the exact same area i developed a maculopapular rash that is very itchy. i thought that it looked like bug bites coincidentally in the same spot. it has not decreased but has changed, the centers look slightly whiter and the papules are less discrete and coalescing. any ideas.
