Hello. I am 31 years old, 5'1, 9 stone and am not nor have I ever been sexually active.
My periods usually last around 7 days but the last 4 times I have developed large itchy sores on my labia majora around day 3-4 which don't start to heal until I have finished.
They look like large mouth ulcers, have a slight sticky discharge and are extremely painful when touched or sat on. The skin around them seems to be harder than normal too.
I do use sanitary towels and the sores start to go once I have stopped using them but I have been using the same brand and style of towel for over 15 years and this is a new problem.
Any suggestions how to stop it happening or reduce the pain? Thank you.
