Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in gums is usually due to infection or inflammation of gums.
Eruption of wisdom tooth can also lead to pain in the gums.
A clinical assessment by a
dentist is required for treatment of the condition.
Infection or inflammation of gum is managed by local medication with/ without systemic treatment.
If the wisdom tooth is erupting, saline mouth washes and pain killer will be helpful.
The pain caused by
tooth eruption usually disappears once the tooth erupts from the gums.
Sore throat is suggestive of infection and inflammation of throat.
An examination of the throat is required to look for soreness and inflammation.
Consult an
ENT specialist for clinical assessment and thus management.
In the meanwhile you can take painkiller and saline gargles for symptomatic relief.
Thanks and take care
