General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to patella dislocation. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain and inflammation. I also suggest to maintain the knee elevated and rest. Cold compresses can be helpful. You should not take the bandage off.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
