Suggest Remedy For Loose Motions In Infants

my daughter is 5 months old and she has loose motion from past one week dr has advised for stool test and the test result is reducing substance blue microscopy pus cells:30-40 hpf :no rbc's seen bacteria++, no mucin no ova, cyst or helminth seen what does in meen???

hello there ..thank you for choosing HCM.
According to this stool test report ,your daughter is suffering from bacterial diarrhoea.
If I was her treating physician ,I would have advise her
1. Maintain adequate hydration
2.Maintain electrolyte balance
3.Antibiotics
Hydration and electrolyte can be maintained by giving her Oral Rehydration Solution (if she is able to drink) but if dehydration is severe,she need to be hospitalised and treat accordingly by her pediatrician.
