Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I read you statement and i understand you are concerned about your sperm analysis report
For a normal sperm count, 50% of sperm should be active and motile and 30% should be at-least normally shaped. Moreover, liquification time should be 20 mins or less.
Your report is normal in all aspects expect
1. Liq Time is more ie 25 min 2. Pus cells and RBC are not usually present in Semen
Liq Time is not that much high so it is not worrisome. Increased pus cells may be due to epidydymitis and urethritis, and you have to do the following
1. Take Antibiotics, ie Tab Cefexime 400mg once a day for 6 days 2. Consult your physician for further follow up
Thanks Dr Nasir Ali
