Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have symptoms of depression and are taking sleeping pills. As per my opinion first of all you should visit a psychiatrist for evaluation of your symptoms and for quitting sleeping pills. If your symptoms come in mild depression range then both medicinal and psychological therapy can help. Cognitive therapy can help to reduce the abnormal thought processes and cognitive distortions and will result in improvement of depressive symptoms.

Medicines like SSRIs for short term use can help to reduce the symptoms. Paroxetine, Sertraline are known to cause sedation and will help you in sleeping without the need for pills. Visit a psychiatrist for help and prescription of the drugs.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
