Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Found swelling on lower right side of back, very minor. When I pushed on it I felt excruciating pain and burning. Did it a second time it hurt worse but then seemed to disappear. The swelling seemed to be deep under the skin. Curious as never had this type of pain before. I am succeptible to bone spur in my hands though, with swelling full of blood in fingers and palm when pullingg wrenches ect.
How long is the swelling there? A recent onset swelling that is painful and tender to touch is most likely a soft tissue infection, as what happens in a folliculitis. This can be treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatory agents for few days. Your doctor will guide you. Meanwhile, you can take paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain relief.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
