Suggest Remedy For Muscle Pain From The Back Of Ear To The Shoulders

I am a university student who spends a lot of time studying and have been experiencing muscle pain that extends from the back of my ears, down the bottom of my scalp and to my shoulders. This causes me great discomfort. I was wondering how many 100mg tablets of diclofenac I can take as a remedy?

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

There is muscle spasm in your case.

You should try-
- Hot fomentation.
- Local application of diclofenac gel or spray.
- Try Diclofenac with muscle relaxant like chlorzoxazone.
- Try to check your posture while sitting for prolonged duration for study.
- Physiotherapy may help, better to consult physiotherapist.

If despite of all above there is no relief consult orthopedician for detailed clinical evaluation and appropriate treatment.
There may be need for cervical spine x ray.

Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
