I am 35 yes male who hit the gym for weight training 5-6 times a week. Day before during my leg workout my left side lower back pulled while i was on my second set of lying leg presses.
I immediTely stopped but the pain has been excruciating. My movements have been painful. I was given a dynapar lamp shot and neo relax mr 8 alkng with zepro 0.25 mg by doc. Nowhave been advised zerodol s twice daily. I am applying volini thrice daily.
I am dying to hit back to the gym. Any help and advice will be a boon. Plz help with guidance to recover
I am sorry to read about your condition. Probably you strained your muscle too hard and it has gone into spasm. During a spasm since the muscle remains contracted, it gets fatigued and thereby cries in pain. This is the pain that you are suffering from. Your doctor has given the right medicines. Please be patient and in 2-3 days, the pain should eventually subside. Applying hot compress alternating with cold compress should be helpful and would give you some relief. After you go back to the gym, please be sure to take it a bit easy on yourself.
