Suggest Remedy For Nausea And Pain After Drinking Lemon Juice

This morning I drank 3 day old water with fresh lemon juice and lemon wedges left out in room temperature. Late afternoon a migraine kicked in, along with nausea and pain in the jaws. Is this food poisening or too much lemon water? I can eat soup just fine around dinner time but solid foods make me nauseous again. Looking forward to your responses.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Lemon juice is not known to be a trigger for migraines but everyone can react differently.

Food poisoning presents with nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea though not all of these may be present.
It is possible that other symptoms may develop as the condition progresses but you would need to monitor to see.

I hope this helps
