Suggest Remedy For Pain After Tibia And Perone Fracture

I had a tibia and perone fracture. I have a metal plate and 3 screws. For the las 3 months i m in a lot of pain. last week my doctor says I had an infection. He is going to remove the plate and screws. Im scared about it. Please let me know the risk and the time to recovery after the surgery. Thank you

After going through your query I concluded that you has got fracture tibia. For which you were put a plate and three screws. Your Doctor said it has to be removed. Now further management depends on whether your fracture united or not. If your fractures has not united then it is likely that your treatment may take a longer time i.e.nearly6-9months or even longer. If your fracture has united then it will nearly take a month to recovery after plate removal. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.
