Suggest Remedy For Pain And Bruising Due To Flat Foot

I'm a 23 yr old female. I have flat feet and what my Podiatrist calls an Accessory Navicular. Lately it seems it's gotten worse. My left foot has always affected me more. I woke up this morning to it hurting, swollen, bruised and I can see every vein in that foot. I have no Health Insurance and money is tight. I guess my question is, what can I do at home to help relieve some of the stress?
