Suggest Remedy For Pain And Fever And Excessive Wax Formation In Ear

hello my 3 year daughter has had lots of wax in her ear and thats what caused a lot of pain ad fever...can u tell me what exactly has happened? do you think she put something in her ear or it is the wax....as the doc saw through a torch and said its just the wax....the thing is yest night in emergency ward she did not have the actual torch to be used inside the ears to see what has actually happened...she just saw thru a normal ear...can u help

So sorry to hear about your daughter's problem and will try my level best to resolve it..

As per your complain it seems that pain in ear and fever can be most probably due to ear infection although earache can occur due to excess earwax buildup but fever is generally a sign of infection..
I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician or an ENT expert and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and do an otoscopic examination of the ears..
If there is excessive wax buildup it will be removed after softening it with wax softeining drops..
In case of infection she will be given a script of oral antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and along with it antibiotic and analgesic ear drops will be advised..
Tylenol will be given to relieve fever..
Along with it you should also avoid excess water exposure to ears and also avoid picking the ears..
