Suggest Remedy For Pain And Fuzziness In Eye After Injury

My 2yr old flung back full force onto me. The back of his head hitting my eyebrow. Everything went grey and fuzzy for a second. That day the pain radiated out to below my cheek and half of my nose. This was early sat am. It is now tues afternoon and my eye is still very sore. Could it be fractured?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Sore eyes and the edema associated with a forceful hit could take like 2 weeks to resolve. It is unlikely that you have a fracture. Although if the swelling is increasing and the pain is worsened there is a small chance that you have a fracture. If so, just get it checked out by a doctor. You will be most probably needing only anti-inflammatory and pain killer medication. Take care and have a nice day.
