Suggest Remedy For Pain And Redness From A Glass Sliver In Hand
on Tuesday I got glass into my hand & I thought that I had gotten it all out. But just started hurting me really bad in a certain spot and I notice it looks a little irritated and red was wondering what I can do about the pain and seeing if there is something left in my hand or not without having to go to the ER
You have pain and redness due to a glass silver in hand. You should wash your hands with antibacterial soap and try to remove it with the help of a sterilized tweezer. If it comes out, good. If not then do not keep handling it, it may get worse. Visit the ER and get it removed. If left in the hand, it will continue to cause pain, swelling and also infection. You should get it out.
Do not neglect, as it can cause internal infection. Sometimes, it can be fatal as it can travel fast and cut the nerves, vessels or cause damage to the organs of the body. It is rare but can cause death. Get it removed at the earliest. You can take analgesic to help relieve inflammation , swelling and pain. Let the blood come out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
