Suggest Remedy For Pain And Swelling Around Eye

I have severe chronic pan uvetious and I'm 22 years old and I have massive cateracts now and I need surgery because of my meds that I'm taking. The pain that I have when I have active inflammation is so bad my eye gets so red and swollen tea my eye looks like it is coming out of the socket. I have always wondered if medical marijuana would help with relation and pain from my condition and decrease the amount of medication that I have to take?

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
Systemic medications will not much effect on the eye and if taken in larger doses will lead to adverse effect..
When the pain is severe in case of inflammation you need to use atropine eye ointment and drops in addition to systemic and topical steriods..
Your treating doctor can decide whether you need to go for stronger pain relievers or not..
Keep using the medications as prescribed and I recommend a systemic evaluation also for any auto immune diseases..
Hope this information is helpful to you..
Take care..
