Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Redness, Itching And Burning Pain In The Right Eye?
My right eye is very red as if it has been bleeding in there but is not visible blood. Solid red in the outside corner of my eye and underneath the colored part of my eye. Some slight eye pain. Noticed it after I reached to my eye and rubbed it. Don t know if I rubbed it to hard. Have been having some eye pain previously and have used over the counter eye drops for itching and burning and eye pain and blurred vision. Was using Similasan Allegy Eye Relief drops Homeophatic with silver in it and the itching and burning stopped but now the very red and some pain in the right eye.
I think something has entered inside your eye and causing such reaction/inflammation.
As this has been persisting for a few days now, it's time to see the eye specialist as he/she might help remove the tiny particle/allergen that might have entered inside your eye.
Meanwhile, keep good hygiene, apply cold chamomile compresses on the eye until you see the eye specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
