Suggest Remedy For Pain And Swelling In Ligaments Of Foot After Being On Crutches
Went to er and they told me a torn the ligaments and put me on crutches and wrapped my foot. One week later and it hurts just as bad as it did at first. Not as much bruising but still swelling. I have copd and using the crutches put me completely out of breath. What do I do?

I really appreciate your concern, ideally if this is torn ligament then this need to be repaired surgically if this is not coming around with conservative treatment, and in my opinion you need to talk to orthopedic surgeon, hope this information helps, take care.
