Suggest Remedy For Pain And Swelling In The Abdomen
Hi, I am in my third week of recovery after a full hysterectomy. I am wondering how long the swelling will last with my belly? Also I am getting sharp stabby pains in certain places sometimes and I am wondering if that is normal or ok. Thank you, Angela

Pain recovery in hysterectomy depends on the type of surgery. Vaginal or laproscopic surgeries have bit earlier recovery. But abdominal hysterectomy takes 4-6 weeks for complete recovery. Till then you have to take rest. Avoid lifting weight and follow doctor's advice.
