Hello and welcome to HCM,
Swelling, pain and dicomfort in the surgical site commonly occurs due to infection.
Although surgical procedures are followed by oral antibiotics and topical antibiotic, however, sometimes infection of the surgical site can occur.

Debridement of the surgical site, topical antibiotic and painkillers are required for management of the surgical site.
Continue the treatment given by your treating doctor.
Infection requires few days to subside.

Thanks and take care
