Hi,

Your orthopedic doctor may be able to address both issues at once and provide treatment to manage your pain and weakness. Depending on the specific causes of your symptoms, treatment options may include physical therapy, medication, knee braces, or even surgery.

For the pain and weakness on your right side, your doctor may recommend imaging tests such as an X-ray, MRI, or CT scan to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. Once the cause is identified, your doctor may prescribe pain medications, muscle relaxants, or other treatments to manage the pain and improve strength and mobility.

For your left knee issues, treatment options may include physical therapy to strengthen the muscles around the knee, using a knee brace or support, and anti-inflammatory medication to reduce swelling and pain. Surgery would be necessary if damage is severe.

It is important to work closely with your doctor and pain management specialist to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses all of your concerns and symptoms. This may involve multiple specialists working together to provide a personalized treatment plan that addresses your individual needs.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
