Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Toothpick Stuck In Throat

Small piece of a Toothpick stuck in my throat feels like it s in there went and saw a nurse they said they couldn t see anything should I go for an x-Ray? Or can this hurt my insides? Or should I not worry about it..not blocking my airway or affecting my breathing but I do get a sharp pain by my Adams apple once in awhile

Yes, you need to be concerned and under go examination and investigations to know about the position of tooth pick which you have accidentally ingested. If it remains there it can hurt the tissue around and can cause infections and perforation.

You need to go for x ray or endoscopy if required to locate it. Endoscopy can help in locating it as well as removing it. So opt for endoscopy.
