After post kidney transplant people experience pain due to musculocutaneous factors, edema in the legs & ankle may cause pain, it can be the side effect of the medicines you have been taking. You are suggested to inform your treating doctor about the pain so that the medicines you are taking can be monitored or replaced by medicines that suits you better.
Cut on the salt intake to reduce swelling or edema. Massage with pain relieving ointments & exercises under a physiotherapist may help. You are suggested to get a follow up clinical examination by your treating doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
