Suggest Remedy For Pain In Clavicle After Accident

Hiya I had a car accident on July 4th and experienced what I thought was pain in my clavicle. I had an xray an it was unconclusive so I had another one a week after at a fracture clinic. The man just took a quick look and said it is fine. Two weeks later my pain was getting worse so my physio asked if I could get my xray which I did and it shows the rib behind my clavicle has a lump of sharp bone sticking out. I informed my doctor an they are sending me for another opinion but they don t know how long this will take. The pain is getting worse when I breath now can you help me??

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having pain in your clavicle region . Two times x ray show nothing.Last x-ray shows rib behind you clavicle has lump. As you have history of injury , it can be rib fracture in healing phase (haematoma and callus) .But you can get your high resolution CT scan of area done to rule out other causes. For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovering. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
