Suggest Remedy For Pain In Pelvic Area Due To A Collapsed Ovarian Cyst

I am having severe pelvic pain and trouble urinating. My lower bladder hurts terribly. I did have a ct scan that showed a collapsed cyst on my left ovary. The urinary pain is what bothers me most. It feels like I can t push all the urine out and it burns severely.

Hi,

Let me tell you that the symptoms described by you suggest that you have urinary tract infections. I suggest doing a urine culture and sensitivity test and taking antibiotics levofloxacin 500mg for 5 days. I also suggest none steroidal anti-inflammatory medication for pelvic pain. I recommend you take plenty of drinking water on a regular basis and maintain good hygiene.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar, General & Family Physician
