Hi My Name is Rahul.. I had a shoulder injury while working out at gym.. My doc informed me its a rotator cuff injury .. and tried MRI scan.. It came with results that very minor tears on shouler.. and my doc prescribed , just exercises 4 shoulder... I took exercises and it reduced/completely went off in many directions of motions .. but still the same pain in a couple of directions of motion.. for these directions , when I do exercise I feel that the pain increases very much for next two days.. if I dint do any exercise , it goes off.. but comes back the moment I use my shoulder in that direction for any medium effort work.. DO I need to go 4 professional physiotherapy / any kinda massages or continue with my exercises bearing the pain ??
I have studied your case. Rotator cuff injury which need MRI for confirmation.
Medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant and analgesic will reduce pain, you can take them consulting your treating doctor. You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS ,or ultrasound which is helpful in your case. Theraband and against resistance exercises need to be learned from professional physiotherapist.
Also check your vit B12 and vit D3 in your blood.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care Regards Dr Vaibhav
