Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was diagnosed with a minor leaky valve about 6 months ago and everyday I still feel pain in my chest. It feels like a brick is in my chest. I am not on any medication except for high cholesterol. I am soon to be 36 is it safe to get my teeth cleaned? A cavity filled? To get pregnant?
Chest pain is really atypical for a leaking valve. For this reason, I would recommend performing an exercise cardiac stress test in order to investigate for any other cardiac disorders.
I would like to directly review your cardiac ultrasound report, if you could upload it, in order to be able to give a more professional opinion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
