Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been have alot of pain under the collar bone on the right side. It is swollen and it sticks up where my chest bone is. When You push on it, it shoots a pain to the back of my shoulder. It also hurt mostly at night when i lay down on my back. And when i get back up i have ahard time sitting up. When i move my shoulder it pops and cracks and i cant move my arm to high. My whole shoulder swells badly. Even my shoulder down to my elbow will swell. I am not sure what is going on. It hurts so bad i cry myself to sleep. Then i wake up all through the night.
I have read your query and understand the concerns.
It could be lymph node enlargement or cystic swelling or bony swelling as in Paget's disease but the visual inspection on the swelling would confirm the diagnosis.
It may require you to undergo complete hemogram with ESR and ultrasound of swelling to rule out infective cause and to have confirmed diagnosis. The tests can be ordered by a general surgeon.
At the moment, my suggestion will be to visit a surgeon and plan for the above mentioned tests. Please send in pictures for more comments.
However, you can take symptomatic treatment meanwhile like pain killers with serratiopeptidase and antacids.
Hope this information will help and get back with clinical picture.
